VMware vRealize Automation 8.9.0 Released and Other

VMware has released vRealize Automation 8.9.0, vRealize Orchestrator 8.9.0 and vRealize Operations 8.6.4

vRealize Automation 8.9.0

This is just a short list of the new features in this release, the release also contains bug fixes.

What’s new:

• vRA is now integrated with TMC to provide a single pane of glass for VMs and Clusters management.
• Read-only Object fields can now be expanded and collapsed for nested objects and arrays of objects.
• Cloud Guardrails (vRA Cloud only) – Desired state scheduled enforcement, drift visibility, and more

  • Enforcement Scheduling
  • Account Discovery Scheduling
  • Account Profiles
  • Content Library Clean-Up
  • Native Project Management
• vRealize Orchestrator plug-in for vSphere Web Client
  • This requires vCenter Authentication so I would not use this, but use the standalone vRealize Orchestrator for this.
• Custom form list and select improvements for read only mode
• Support for AWS GovCloud Regions
• Pipeline task will automatically refer to the latest version of custom integration
